5/11/06 - VEGE GARDEN!


As of this afternoon we have a vege garden - not quite finished (or very planted) but definitely looking like a vege garden!! Is it wrong to be this excited about small patchs of tilled earth??

Definitely not wrong. That's great. And it's especially wonderful when it's so fresh and there are no weeds. Will you be adding anything to the soil?

It has had a manure and sawdust mix added already - and some lime (a friend said it helps the manure break down?). I will see how things grow - there are lots of worms around so am hoping thats a promising sign?
