These look like buckeyes! Peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate...?
No. They are a simple dough recipe half dipped in chocolate.
We had made stained glass window biscuits (which I didn't photograph for some reason) - these were the shape we punched out of the middle, rather than squishing it up to reroll to use for more stained glass biscuits we just used the cut out like this.
I got the recipe for stained glass window biscuits from this awesome blog - check this lady out she ahs 12 kids and STILL does heaps of creative stuff too!!!http://andreak.vox.com/library/post/stained-glass-biscuits.html
