24/02/07 - Rodeo
Today we went to a rodeo - my memories of rodeos stem from the couple I went to as a child; and weren't pleasant.
The one today was great fun - and most importantly the animals all were happy and treated well too.
E even had a go at sheep riding! Click here to see the video of her (short) ride.
It was just too hot to stay long though so we left before the "professional" stuff in the afternoon.

I have never really been to a rodeo. I am really impressed with your daughter riding that sheep like she did.
Good job on that action shot. I really got a feel for what the rodeo is really like.
What wonderful fun. I think it was very brave to ride a sheep. I'm sure it's something she will always remember!
Shoshana and Elisheva really enjoyed the video. Shoshana says it looks like it might hurt. Elisheva said it's amazing that a kid did it.
Hey -- did you know you can add code to show the video right on your blog?
Shoshana - E says that it didn't hurt; it was lots of fun and she wants to do it again. A thinks he might have a go next year too.
SuperD - I didn't know that about putting videos on the blog - does it make it slower to load? - what code do i use?
