17/02/07 - Not Yet Blackberries

When we bought the land I think the blackberry must have been recently sprayed or removed in some way so there wasn't much around - but over the last 15mths we have had it resprouting all over the place - will be interesting to see how many berries we get.

Are those actual blackberries?

We have something that grows wild here called blackcaps. A lot of people call them blackberries even though they aren't really blackberries. They're small and red until the last day or so, when they suddenly turn almost black.
